Album: Lightbearers

Year: 2019

Lightbearers is an electronic, ambient, classical, and jazz album produced in the latter half of the mid 10's, with the exception of the tracks "Solace part 1", "Illuminations" and "Unlimited" that were produced in the mid 00's and is some of Sune Braunschweig's earliest works. Besides synthesizers, sampled recordings of sounds made by glass are used as instruments on the album.

This album is sublime, calm, serene, and meditative yet melancholic, and this combination creates an overwhelming beauty. It is a journey through the energy centers of the body, from the root chakra to the crown chakra. Track 1-4 expresses the Muladhara, track 5-9 expresses the Svadhishthana, track 10-12 expresses the Manipura, track 13-24 expresses the Anahata, track 25 expresses the Vishuddha, track 26-29 expresses the Ajna, and track 30-33 expresses the Sahasrara. Symbolizing also the 33 bones of the spine. The total dark background hints at the origin of all, the nothing, what has been described as the dazzling darkness or sparkling darkness, and the 7 lights of the human body hints at the fact that something only exists when light is shed upon it by a lightbearer.
