Album: Anti
Year: 2019
Anti is an ambient and classical album with elements of electronica and jazz. It was produced in the years between the mid 00's to the start of the 10's. It is a combination of two projects merged into one. The tracks "Antivirus", "New Memories", "Paradoxes" and "Complete" is some of Sune Braunschweig's earliest work, and these tracks, excluding "Paradoxes", were mastered by Poul Vinther at Vintermusic.com Records in the late 00's. The remaining tracks were produced around 2010.
The theme of this album is not being in opposition, but being the opposite of something, suggesting non-reactionary rebellion, neither conforming nor resisting. Being at peace in other words. Hinting at a kind of pacifistic anarchism. The inverted pyramid is symbolizing what would happen if humanity stopped its cooperation with the hierarchical structure of the societies of the world. The energy transmitted by these works is confident, meditative, and beautiful, powerful but not forceful. The album is also flavored with melancholy; silent suffering. The album is an expression of the inner journey of awakening, from the antidote to the completion, in the sense of a state of consciousness, not meant to suggest an absolute truth that can be found, but rather, the completion is the realization that it can't be found.
