Androgynous is an experimental electronic and noise album using sampled 1980'ies synthesizers as well as contemporary sampled synthesizers, distorted voices, and sampled recordings of sounds made by glass.

The album is inspired by breath and androgyny, balance, nondualism; the absence of duality, judgment, pursuit, and direction: thatness, which consequently implies androgyny, a balanced mix of apparent opposites, which is really only in opposition in an isolated state of imbalance. Breath is a mirror of this observation: Both holding the breath and emptying the lungs permanently are deadly imbalances; only by inhaling and exhaling continuously can a body stay alive: both apparent opposites need each other, and preferably in an equal balanced mix. Neither very masculine nor very feminine, and with both elements mixed into one expression, the album is a balanced example of androgyny.
